Freeze Frame

I found a new home. It's beautiful, my roommates are rad, and I will be so close to Trader Joe's that I might build a Charles Shaw pipeline straight to my bedroom window. I'm elbow-deep in creative projects, my crystal ball is clearing, and I'm as brave as I've ever been.

There's a lot of change right now in my world, and I'm ready for just about all of it.

In unrelated news, I've been talking a lot about the documentary Exit Through the Gift Shop, which I only half-liked, but this interview with Banksy made me like it the other half.

"The art I make is similar to film - my paintings are essentially freeze frames from movies that are playing in my head. I think its pretty clear that film is the pre-eminent art form of our age. If Michaelangelo or Leonardo Da Vinci were alive today they’d be making Avatar, not painting a chapel. Film is incredibly democratic and accessible, it’s probably the best option if you actually want to change the world, not just re-decorate it." - Banksy
